Join EcoTravel Director Andrew Griswold and CT Audubon naturalists on Long Island Sound in search of harbor seals, seabirds, and winter gulls. Travelers will venture out of New London on a very comfortable 64 foot vessel as we search for the not so easy to find animals of the near shore. In past years travelers have seen as many as 200 harbor seals. Sightings can also include gray seals, scoters, Long-tailed Ducks, gannets, Razorbills, and the rare and unusual. The boat has a heated cabin and snack bar. All participants $35.

SUNDAY, JUNE 18, 2006  Father's Day Lighthouse Cruise

Join EcoTravel on the M/V SeaPony out of New London for a relaxing and informative tour which will include New London Light, Ledge Light, Avery Point, Morgan’s Point, Latimer Point, The Dumplings, and Race Light. A historian will be on board to tell you the interesting facts and history of each light. The vessel has an enclosed area with seating and a snack bar for a comfortable ride. Fee: $45 for all passengers.

SUNDAY JUNE 25, 2006  HAUNTED NEW LONDON TOUR & LOBSTERBAKE CRUISE

New London never looked quite like this before. In the company of CT-based ghost hunters, folklorists and historians, discover well known places with a spirit-ed side. Then it's all aboard as you embark on a haunted sunset harbor cruise, passing by legendary lighthouses and spirit-ed landmarks in the company of ghost hunter Donna Kent. Lobsterbake dinner included aboard the Sea Pony, with coffee and tea. Cash bar available.
